House in Kensington
An almost full renovation of this fantastic Edwardian house was commissioned to us in order to improve the lifestyle of this lovely 4-member family.
The works included substantial changes in every rooms and all decisions were to be made in close collaboration with the Client fostering mutual trust and making the whole process a very enjoyable experience.
A great deal of things have to be taken into consideration when facing projects like this, from existing furniture and textiles, to different zoning and uses within the house.
Colour was a useful tool that helped us bond everything together. Vivid and fresh for the busy rooms, elegant and sophisticated for transition areas, dark and embracing for small rooms and restful palette for bedrooms.
Wallpapers, fabrics, dark oak wooden floors and a number of rediscovered original features brought quality and a solid identity to the space.
